Ayyy people this is EXPERT mode guide from personal experience
[!!!WARNING!!!]This guide will be poor written and may or may not include lame joke and bad English[!!!WARNING!!!]
since this is my first guide and i haven't beat WoF in Expert mode yet so this guide is WIP
Let get start
First i prefer you to create new character since this is Expert mode,Then you need to create new world and select Expert mode
Expert mode AKA:Hell
now you enter the beautiful world of Terraria, first thing you need to do is running around for some chest like playing normal BUT please try to avoid Slime because they gain 2X Damage and Health because Expert mode, just jump above his head and avoid him
Now you properly have some basic item like
Aglet,
Climbing Claws,
Umbrella and some
Healing potions,
Then you need to gather some woods make work beach and craft wood armor ASAP now you properly have some defense for fighting slime for some
gel (If you bad at dodging, yea)
It's time to build house
use your remaining woods to build few house or if you want fancy beautiful Grey brick house go dig some stone, For furnace too, all you need to do is build Box house for few NPC
10x6 House for NPC
All housing need Light source
, Flat surface Item
and Comfort Item
This is housing basic you can use other stuff like Cactus Table, Cactus Chair and Tiki torch too , as long as it has Light source, Flat surface Item and Comfort item
Alternate Mini house
3x10 House for poor NPC
Let dig some ores
OK, you have house for NPC some Wooden Armor and Copper Shortsword and Copper Pickaxe, Wait?! what? Copper? that thing ain't help to get far, m8
it time to dig some ores, you can find common ores like Tin,Copper,Lead and/or Iron on surface, go ahead run around for a bit you might find some ores then grab your trusty Copper Pickaxe
And start mining it, if you can't find enough ores and you found some cave just go in there look for some ores deep down below surface if you lucky you might find
Now i assume you have plenty of ores now let craft some
Furnace, Craft at Workbench using 20 Stone Block,4 Woods and 3 Torches
then craft Every Metal bars that possible
I recommend upgrade Pickaxe first for fast mining
Then Dig more ores and go deeper for Gold Chest
EoC
EoC or Eyes of Cthulhu is first major boss you encounter or summon,Since Slime mount exploit has been fixed so kill Slime King is optional now
First you need to Build 3x long wide Platform for running and jumping

Recommend Gear
300+ HP (10
)
Lead ,Iron Set or Better,Iron Skin potions,Regeneration potions,Swiftness potions and Campfire
Hermes boots,Shackle,Cloud in Bottle, etc.
Silver or Gold bow plenty of unholy arrows and jester arrows or shuriken and throwing knifes
Stage
First stage of EoC is like normal mode but he will spawn more mini eyes just running around and shooting him just becareful about his minions
Second stage when he reach certain HP he will start transform into second form, it will increase his atk but lower his defense and he will release a lot of minions during transformation
He will be faster and hit harder just use old tactic running around and shooting at him
Third stage after fighting 2nd stage he will start dashing at extremely fast speed now it's time to really run, run left and right to avoid his dash, try dodging as much as possible
the lower his Hp the more often he will dashing after his Hp is below around 10% he will dash non-stop
This is time to pray that you have enough Hp to survive his attack while damaging him till he die
