Mobile Pearlstone Killing Mud

I was making my Surface mushroom biome when I noticed most of my mud had pearlstone under it. I thought it wouldn't be a problem until I noticed ALL the Mud becoming dirt around the Pearlstone. I am 98% Sure this shouldn't happen. Bug fix Request?

Definetly a bug, probably just a mixup in coding, just put 3 block thick barriers of wood around the mud for now.

The hallow can't spread in the jungle.

The crimson/corruption can.
Hallow is not suppose to.

Edit: directly from the wiki

• The Hallow cannot convert mud or jungle grass. This means the Hallow can be completely superseded by the Jungle causing no blocks to become Hallow.
