Switch Platforms for switch don’t work with joy cons

Has anyone else experienced that the platforms don’t work with joycons? It’s definitely not drift either because I can see the cursor moving down. For some reason, just dropping down the platforms fails to happen about 40% of the time. It basically makes boss battles on handheld mode impossible if you don’t have a pro controller with you. If the developers know about this problem, will it be fixed in 1.3.5?
