Since we can now craft "natural" walls, they should be great to fill in gaps.
Unfortunately when placed next to actual natural walls, there's an ugly black line between them.

See picture below, to get rid of the black lines I'd have to place snow walls all the way down the tunnel, just because I wanted to fill in a small gap.
These black lines serve no purpose, you'd pretty much always want these walls to blend nicely with the natural walls.

That does look quite ugly. Nice house, by the way!
I once tried doing something like that too, with leaf walls bought from the Dryad, and it actually worked fine. Maybe this error is just with more square backgrounds?

I haven't tried leaf walls. I did have the same problem with sandstone walls though, when I wanted to fill the gap in the underground desert entrance

Since they do not behave the same, I think it's better for the game to show the delimitation.

Rather I would prefer a way to convert safe walls into unsafe walls an vice-versa. Something like this suggestion I recently posted.

Well, in that suggestion I also include a way to be able to see the limit between safe and unsafe walls better. In that case, if that was also added, then we could have a seamless contact between safe and unsafe walls, since players will have an alternate way to see the seams.
