Meh, I would rather see all the blood moon fishing enemies added to an aquatic horde event. :D

All the evidence [1.4.0.5] points to me being correct, I don't care what "most people say" if they're wrong.

Blood Moon Enemies [fishing]:
  • Blood Eel = upgraded Wyvern Enemy [pre-Mech Enemy].
  • Goblin Shark has the same health as a Paladan [post-Planter Dungeon Enemy].
Weapons/ Blood Moon [fishing]:
  • Haemorrhaxe [150%/80%] is a single tier worse than The Axe (Plantera [175%/100%]).
  • Drippler Crippler [110 DMG] is a single tier worse than Flower Pow [130 DMG].
  • Sanguine Staff, pre-nerf (mic drop). 👐🎤

Queen Slime was fine, but I don't think her nerfs effect much of anything because her alternative upgrade path isn't nearly as busted as Hallowed Gear; it's certainly good, but not busted, so I don't really care about that.

...so I guess they better fix Destroyer, Twins and Flying Dutchman too then, 'cause nobody fights them legit either.

...or, again... and hear me out, you could just use another Minion.

...or, you could just not and use a Flamethrower? 🤷‍♂️

Would you like me to provide more from Steam Forums? If I give you a sample size to 10-15, will that suffice?
I know this post is like 2 years old but I wanted to point out a really obvious way of determining a weapons intended point in progression
the items rarity
I don't believe sanguine staff has ever been changed from light red which is relegated to early hardmode items
it was never intended to be post plantera or post mech
I do agree the nerf to the bosses spin was excessive but making the sanguine staff less rare made it way less infuriating to get instead of spending hours waiting for the enemy to spawn only not to get it you are now rewarded with the weapon if you go out the way to actually fight the enemy
also fully agree with you on the queen slime nerf shes way too easy to run away from in a straight line now which makes the best part of the fight a bit too easy to avoid (the bouncy gel)

Seedler is Pink rarity and Wasp Gun is Yellow. You shouldn’t go off of that.
