It is a coolish design but I HATE how game freak just replaced mew because they weren't "powerful looking".
I think it's funny for the god of all Pokemon to be a cute little cat.
also in gen 1 psychic Pokemon were so over powered so it made sense that mew is psychic

Literally everyone: gen 1 psychic is so overpowered guys.
The actual gen 1 OU scene: almost exclusively uses normal types.

I thought Mew's main appeal is that Mew can learn any move available to it, and that was never replaced while Arceus on the other hand was copied by Silvally in gen 7.

Mew was one of the only Pokemon I ever got on Pokemon Go. There was a special mew event in a graveyard where a bunch of mews were spawning.

I think Mew's Pokemon sound is cemented in my mind, I hear it whenever I see a picture of Mew.
