Weapons & Equip Possibly a mid-late hardmode accessory that decreases respawn time?

Everyone can agree that waiting the 15 seconds to respawn while your friend struggles against a boss can be extremely suspenseful. Or, rather boring, as you just happened to accidentally die to something mundane like brambles or something difficult like the pillars. Why not add an accessory that reduces this time by 5-10 seconds? I understand the point of waiting so that its not something that the death of a player actually matters and you cant just respawn and respawn, taking turns, however in the late game a small reduction would be a great relief to any multiplayer games. It would force the player to sacrifice an accessory slot which only get more and more important to use wisely as the game progresses.

I would suggest it be a drop of Plantera or Golem, maybe an extremely rare one, but it could also be crafted from other accessories like the Stopwatch. I think it would be a cool addition to the cell phone, although if it were the reduction of respawn time would have to be quite small, maybe only 3 seconds. If it were a dedicated accessory it would not be stackable, such that if you were to have two of these accessories it wouldn't double the respawn reduction, but just apply the base effect of one, making it useless to duplicate.

I feel this concept could also work as a potion, as upon death the affect would be lost meaning you could only use it once. I struggle to think of what you would use to make it though. There is a hole in this idea as you could just stack up on them and take one as soon as you respawn, losing the purpose of "Just once." Ultimately there would have to be some type of sacrifice in the concept as it is a powerful effect in multiplayer, which is why an accessory slot usage would be better.

Maybe it could have a tooltip with a reference to Groundhog Day or something lol, and it's name could have a reference to the Grim Reaper or maybe a god in mythology who transported people to the realm of the dead, like Thanatos. Like just the general idea of transport in death except in terraria its from dying to being reborn.

It could scale with progression possibly but idk I think that wouldn't work. Just adlibbing here, expanding the concept and whatnot. It could also be useful in team pvp servers? I don't have much experience there admittedly.

I'm sure there's wayyy more ways to make this concept more interesting
 
Instead of an accessory, make this a permanent upgrade. Either give it to the vital crystal (since at its current state it does almost nothing) or make a new permanent upgrade item for it


Tbh shimmer upgrades should be buffed in particular. except a few, none of them are major differences, so maybe give this spawn time decrease to the vital crystal.

thats actually a GREAT idea especially for the vital crystal since its shimmer variant is the life crystal
 
but then youd lose the defence so what if the deffence was put onto somthing else
