I already know how biased these forums can be sometimes. Thinking that the popular members would only have a chance. That post was just making me more nervous.
I'm not saying that you put effort into your drawing, though (it's pretty good).
I'm also not saying that he's not allowed to compliment you. It's just that "I generally hope you win" part tipped me off.

Been a while since my latest job doodle, almost a month.
It was because I wanted to spend the time on it, it also had a deeper meaning to it as well:
Last month I heard at the church about the people who had passed away this year.
And it put me into realisation that I've got it so good that my whole family is still all together this year again.
Right before I joined the forums, in December 2013, the mother of my best friend had died. me and my friend's family have raised together as one, so this brought me a huge impact because I'm not used that someone we all know can suddenly disappear...for good...
So I drew this pic out of memoral of all the people who were loved by others have passed away.
my grandfather, my friend's mother and, relatable to this forum, Jestex.
I'm a thousand days thankful that since that time my family is all in a healthy condition. Because I feel like I'm not ready for it to experience another loss of a family member again. "But we might part ways—one day. Keeping that in mind reminds me how precious our time together really is." -Ayra (FEH)

His main interests are Melee weaponry, but He also uses Shotguns, and throws fire in the fight.

The Lightrand is a sword made of Solarstone, a gold colored material that's able to absorb high amounts of sunlight in a cubic centimeter.
When used in combat, if the Solarstone gets damaged by scratches, it'll unleash the sunlight it stored in it. causing an explosion burst of light.
While that's just a scientific effect, it has been considered sacred as the years passed. And rumors sprout that the sword has been blessed. The source of the raw Solarstone is however lost, That's because it looks like a plain rock if it no longer contains sunlight. So it couldn't be researched anymore.
Steef discovered that the Solarstone in the Lightrand is able to conduct heat and flames, causing the blade to be heaten up, making it glow.
In combination with Steef's firepower, it's also able to flare a "fire of light". giving the flames a golden color.
If it cools down after heaten up, it'll cause it to temper itself. recovering itself from the scratches it caused. Effectively causing it to last almost forever.
Despite it's not been an actual 'holy' weapon, It'll still show's it's effectiveness against dark creatures.A signature weapon for my main OC, able to shoot flaming bullets. yet it's still a prototype:

In terms of activity, yes. I'll still post art here when I want to. But I rather prefer posting an 'art series' at once. hence the delay of my recent art batches.
In terms of free requests, these are closed. And since I've a job, it'll be much harder to find a time to open them as well.
I can be certain to tell that I won't open them this holiday anymore.

It's a long overdue, but it's time for the next art batch:
Last batch I was totally into Chrono Trigger, this time I'm totally into Fire Emblem Heroes.
It appears to be common now that I join a game a month before a major update of said game releases.
This time was the start of Book II, which introduced a new main character called Fjorm.
I wanted to be one of the first persons that drew fanart of her, so I did:
I was actually really statisfied how the effects and posing worked out on that one, and I wanted to do more of this stuff.
So I've decided to do a 'Fire Emblem Heroes: Critical Strike' series on my OC's:
I also gave them some extra details and accessoires, because of the detailed designs in FEH itself.
It was pretty interesting to exagerrate a bit on the details and looks, maybe I'm going to keep some of them.
It has been a good practise on the effects. And I've enjoyed how they all turned out.
Now, for the rest of the doodles and artworks:
And that's all for now.
I'm still doing stuff that I look forward for to work further on it. Let's hope that I can make some progress to that on the holidays.

It has been a silent year regarding to Terraria, only one update happened with minor content.
So I've been playing lots of different games throughout this year, whether they were new or old, I've started getting into them this 2017, and looking back to all these games played, I can feel really statisfied with these memories.
I've also seen someone who has made a artwork of a top 10 of games in 2016, and thus I found it personally funny to do one for myself:

This year has been noticeable that I've been expermimenting with my artstyle, trying out new effects and methods and see if these have worked out.
Some of them have been a great practise, others were worth the try regardless. But overall, when I look back at this year, I can look back at it with a great smile.
Onwards to 2018, and hoping to do more awesome stuff as well.
EDIT: Also, Since I found the June crop interesting looking, I've decided to upload the Terraria All Armors crop as well:

First artwork in this year, whew!
Today I've done another attempt to try out something new in my artstyle. And the character of today has been Schala from Chrono Trigger.
I've selected this character because I found her very mysterious, and even after beating the game twice, I'm still left with questions.
I've heard her theme even before I knew about Chrono Trigger myself. and oddly enough, I can't even remember when I've heard her theme in game too.
When I first saw her appearance, I hoped that she became my final playable character. and when she teleported us away from the Ocean temple, she didn't appeared again.
It's a very strange, yet beautiful appearance of a character, hence why I've decided to draw her specifically.
I've also made a progress video as well, to watch back how I did the new design change:

I've done streaming again on Picarto yesterday. The stream went well all along, but I'm not sure if I should continue doing streams since of the lack of time.
But it was nice to stream once again after a year.
So during the Stream, I had thought again of Metroid Prime 2. Since it's my favorite Metroid game.
The feeling of been the hero of light, on an adventure to regain the light again from the dark world.
After all, there's only one source of light needed to wipe out the surrounding darkness:
And it's time for another doodle batch as well:
But it was nice to stream once again after a year.
So during the Stream, I had thought again of Metroid Prime 2. Since it's my favorite Metroid game.
