This is an incredibly long but currently incomplete guide/walkthrough on terraria mobile pre-hardmode that, when finished, will start from the very beginning all the way the end with precise details, I will try to answer all questions, but due to the lack of time I may not be able to answer every question.

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Early game(pre-bosses/pre-meteor)
Exploration
If you used a ‘normal’ world (which you should due to easier explanation) The first thing after spawning in is searching for the natural biome you got, as both desert and snow are excellent.0
If you got a desert, you should immediately craft a cactus sword and armor, since these gear are top notch in power compared with other items of the same tier.
You should then build a house with at least 2 rooms for NPCs to come by, look up the requirements for building an NPC house.
Make sure that your house are built around your spawn, but there arn’t any blocks in the 4-block radius of your spawn, since if that happens spawning will cause you to destroy blocks and/or doors.
After that look for a cave to explore in the regular forest, make sure you check out every chest you can find, as an umbrella or an aglet with a good prefix might just be what you needed.

If you got a snow biome, congrats, you just got a ticket for some of the most overpowered gear in mobile.
Unfortunately that comes a bit later, for now make armor and a sword and start walking around to look for something called a heart shrine under your feet, it’s a well-lit heart shaped empty area with two heart crystals and a chest, the chest contains some great items, though the heart crystals are what you come for.
If you didn’t find one on the ground, that’s fine, just go underground for a little, you might even find some good loot in ice chests.
After that you can either continue exploring (the shrine is usually connected to cave passages) or build a house.

Regardless of biome, you should skip copper(yellowish brown stuff) and tin(white stuff with yellow sparkles and yellow around the edges)and straight up look for iron(shiny white stuff) and lead(shiny deep blue stuff).
Also mine any gems you find, these are easy to notice since they shine even brighter than ore, as well as being extremely different to them in looks.
Look for bomb statues, heart statues and star statues, if you find a bomb statue you can place it on the spot where a dart trap had been(remember, remove dart traps at all costs) to get bombs, the other two’s utility comes a bit later.
Pick up any potion from chests or pots or slimes, no matter how useless they may look at the first glance, they will be useful later.

When you got killed by fall damage and decided to discontinue exploring, I mean, when you got a bit bored, teleport back to spawn by simply returning to the title screen and reload the world.
If you somehow got a merchant to spawn first day, buy an anvil, otherwise make a furnace then make an anvil.
Then, make a pickaxe with the best metal you have, make armor if you got enough metal.
At this point you should be able to kill the eye of Cthulhu, but you still need the spawning item, shurikens(they are the best weapon against this boss, since it have 4 point of armor penetration), and something else.
This ‘something else’ is an ironskin potion, this is possibly the easiest potion to make, and as long as you have a merchant, which you should, it’s easy even if you lack a desert biome for sand.
(or you could just, you know, walk to the edge of the world, dodging jungle or evil biome enemies, sometimes both, to get some sand).
When you have all three items, you will need to build a~ 50 block long line of platforms to make sure you don’t get stuck or have to jump over terrain irregularities, and a campfire to boost regeneration.
Then wait for night and start the fight!

Eye of Cthulhu.

Weapon of choice will be shurikens, though silver/tungsten bow+ frozen arrows/jester’s arrows would also work quite well if you have it.
Whatever your strategy is, do not use a sword.

First thing about this boss;it doesn’t deal too much damage, but deals damage frequently to compromise this.
But as long as you continuously walk at one direction and keep chucking shurikens at it when it’s above you, you should be fine.
In phase 2 it deals more damage, but as long as you continue doing what you’ve being doing, you should continue to be fine.
Be sure to jump down the bridge when you are about to get hit and just walk through under, then jump back up.

OP gear of this stage.

Enchanted sword: most mobile ‘normal’ worlds have one, and if you get one early game you’re a god.
Just don’t use it on eye of Cthulhu, but you can use it on Eater Of Worlds To basically facetank him.

Flare gun : Consistent. Powerful. Damaging. Debuff.
Do I have to say anything else?
Use this on Eye of Cthulhu, queen bee and brain of Cthulhu’s first phrase for a monstrous damage boost.

Katana : maybe not as strong as the first 2, but it will keep hordes of melee enemies at bay while killing them quickly, and does this well.

If you’re confident in your exploring abilities you may try exploring the jungle and get some cool loot, though I think this should come after smashing your first demon orb/crimson heart.
By now you should already know where the evil biome is as well as having some bombs handy, if you didn’t have any bombs just go on another mining trip, then, when you’re ready, get a demolitionist(chances are you din’t have enough bombs to destroy all 3 orbs/hearts yet, and taking more journeys is time-consuming) and bomb two of them.
After you bombed one, get the gun and the other item.
Then go back to base and check out what was obtained/wait for the meteor/wait for goblin army.
If did encounter one while preparing for other stuff, the goblin army was easy to defeat as long as you have a long, relatively flat piece of ground and a light’s bane/blood butcherer.
Just run around and cut everything up.
You could also play it safe and use a bow + jester arrows to shred the troops from a distance, but this requires quite a lot of jester arrows, and therefore fallen stars, to work, and you should really be saving these stars for mana stars.

This time period is mainly for getting a grappling hook should you not have enough gems for a grappling hook by now.
if you don’t and re nowhere near it, that’s fine. Just kill some piranhas in the jungle to get a hook, you should be able to do so easily with demonite/crimtane weapons.

Brain of Cthulhu
Before you even think about killing the brain, make sure you have at least 15 defense and one of the following weapons;

The rotten fork: this weapon is good at keeping the eyeballs at bay, though you still need to know what you’re doing and not get overwhelmed.
Can be used to defeat both phrases
Play style:high damage, medium-low safety

Tendon bow + jester’s arrows:deals large damage from a distance, this combination’s completely garbage at keeping enemies at bay, though the distance kind of make up for that.
You will want something else for the brain itself, something with higher knockback like a blood butcherer.
Play style: very high damage, low safety.

Spiky balls: a bit hard to get, but definitely worth it in this battle.
Shreads both the creepers and the brain itself.
Play style: unbelievable damage, medium-low safety.

Space gun + meteor armor:ideal... if you can get it.
Shreads both phrases, though you might take some damage in the 2nd phrase.

After you got one of those above, prepare a simple arena.
place two layers of platforms and block the entrances to the smashed crimson hearts on the ground.
It goes without saying that blocking the entrance to the one that was going to be smashed isn’t a good idea.
Theyou drink an ironskin and, if you have it, eat a food item.
Finally, you smash the final orb and start the fight!

In the first phrase, always stay as far from the brain as possible, Knocking the creepers from you should be prioritized unless you’re using a low-knockback high-damage weapon.

If you are stuck between creepers and the brain, jump/grapple through the gap between them to safety.

In 2nd phrase, the power of high-knockback weapons should not be underestimated.

It’s second phrase is actually easier than phrase 1, though you still might be caught off guard.

Good luck!

I will not do a guide Eater of worlds since you really just need enough defense to facetank it (around 16)
Even if you don’t have that much defense, he still is a no-brainer to do.:dryadcool::dryadwink:

Op gear at this stage

Water bolt:if you got one pre-skeletron, by now you should have enough mana to use it properly.
It’s good for most things:events, most boss battles and mining.
You still must watch your mana, though

Meteor armor + space gun combo.

A very difficult-to-get combo that’s really worth it.

It’s good for most things the water bolt’s good at, but without the requirement for mana.

Star cannon.
Stronger than most early hardmode weapons, which means it outclasses every single weapon except the sharanga in pre-hardmode.
Unfortunately this is balanced by having extremely expensive ingredients, and the fact that it uses some of the most obscure ammo in the game.

and now, you should explore the jungle.
it's nearly identical to regular cavern exploration, so i won't explain how to survive it.
what i could tell you is to keep an eye out for hornets and spiked jungle slimes, they both hit very hard and drop stingers, which will come pretty handy.
