Hello everyone! I found a problem, also before I explain more thoroughly I'm sorry if I made a post in the wrong category, I'm new.
So let's begin with some background info. I started a new world with a new character to begin everything at the beginning again. My friend also joined here and we were playing and everything was working.
Sadly, when we were supposed to play the world after making a Host & Play server (steam) it wouldn't go further and just stay at "Starting Server..."
I tried a lot of things:
- waited a bit (around 0,5h)
- restarted terraria
- restarted steam
- restarted my PC
- checked for file compatibility
- reinstalled terraria
I also made a new world and character to test if it has something to do with it, and yes, on the new world there are no problems at all, whole at the original world I can't join with the new and the original character.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I really don't want to lose this world.
