Problem with mechmod

whenever I try to launch it i get this message

I have no idea what this means or what to do.

Mechmod hasn't been updated since, like, forever. I believe the last version only works with 1.2. If you really need to make it work, you can download older versions of terraria as described here: PC - How to (legally) play old versions of Terraria (even up to 1.0.0)

Except showing dummy ghosts, Mechmod can be replaced by a combination of CheatSheet mod, HERO's mod and TEdit. If you only want to build some stuffs, that 3 tools are enough because we don't use complex hoik designs in recent versions. For complex wirings, you can also make use of MechScope mod.
