Problems I've encountered with each single class.

Regarding terraprisma vs. stardust dragon, I think dragon is mostly fine and it's actually terraprisma that should get a buff (since it's the hardest skill test in the game). Who cares that terraprisma is technically post-plantera since if you are skilled enough to get it at that point, you are also more than skilled enough to beat the game without it (this is similar to how I feel about pre-mech duke, sure it obliterates balance but if you possess the skill to beat duke that early, the game's balance already doesn't apply to you)
I agree.

Tbf the actual reason I go after terraprism is cus its a cool flex and the Day empress fight is fun.

So main point is to not die, then deal as much damage as possible?
I'd argue that not dieing on invasions is pretty easy, far easier then on empress, arguably the second part might be easier on empress, dealing dmg is easier on empress coz you can't outrun her easily, she's most time on your screen.
My point was that Empress is extremely consistent, and I've fought her so much that I actually do find her easier than invasions. I must make it clear though, that is just me. I'm not arguing that new players will or should find her easier, just that she's far more consistent than an invasion.

Invasions are built on random enemies spawning in random places; even if you learn what every enemy does and how to avoid them, it's still going to be a bit different every time, requiring improvisation and adjustment. I'm not saying they're harder, just inconsistent.

Empress may be much harder to learn, but once you do, she is perfectly consistent, and requires no on-the-fly adjustment if done properly.

It's inherently different type of experience and I'd say that on invasions you should not care about anything else than making them as fast as possible,
It is indeed a different type of experience, requiring a different set of skills; Empress is a lot more about learning and memorization, Invasions are a lot more about reacting and adjusting to different situations
there is no underlining challenge that can be defined on invasion
If you want just to push progress bar like you'd push bosses hp it would be trivial just despawning minibosses and farming weak enemies
(Yeh some cannot be despawned but a lot of them can)
I think the underlying challenge is whatever you want it to be, whether that's loot, score, or just simply wanting to do it to check it off of a list. What your goal is is going to be based on whatever of those you want, though I would hazard a guess that most people do it for the loot, which would mean killing the event bosses as fast as possible is indeed probably the best thing to focus on; faster boss kills means more loot per invasion, after all.

yup in that sense i agree, i also leaner her moveset by hard, you cannot lean by hard a random invasion spawns
My point about invasions not having a goal to chase was mostly about irrationality of trying to speedrun something that is dependent on random spawns (yes i know people still do that, just look at minecraft speedruns)
A bossfight will be always nearly the same, there is brutal but fair challenge in learning of patterns, perfectly replicable events
Still i agree that everyone chooses their own goal for doing them

In my Master mode Hardcore playthrough, when I reached Post-Plantera I went straight to doing nighttime EoL after grinding in the Hardmode Dungeon, because for me I was more confident in beating her with mediocre weaponry than taking the risk of dealing with the randomness of eclipse and holiday moon events.

If u grinded post-plant dungeon I don´t think ur weaponry would be mediocre, there is good stuff there.

I think stardust dragon is too string because I use it defeat moonlord much faster than other class weapon.
It balances itself out by being weak with only one minion summon. If you make it longer you have to trade gear or use potions/bewitching to increase the damage of it. And let me tell you summon gear has some of if not the weakest defense in the game.
