how do I attach photos on my feed posts from my computer and not from a link?

Currently you cannot upload directly to profile posts. Try hosting on third party sites like Imgur

You can however make it come out as an image rather than a link with this thing.

@darthmorf now that I’m hosting on imgur the photo thing say something like “connection error occurred, please contact admin” so how do I do it, what link do I use? The url or the share url?

Do I use image link, direct link, markup link, html link, bbcode link or linked bbcode?

I don't know why you are seeing that. Does that happen when you first click on that menubar entry, or after you insert the link?

You shouldn't have to use that menubar anyway, just paste the link directly into your profile post, and it will be expanded to an image automagically.

It might help if you post the link you are trying to use here, in case it's the link itself that is the problem.

Works for me to just paste the URL of that imgur page into the profile post, I didn't use the toolbar.

eta: for whatever reason, it gets inserted with MEDIA tags instead of IMG
