Resolved [PS3] PVP without lossing Items ?

Hello everyone, I am new in the forum. I have been playing terraria since october and i am totally adicted playing it in my VITA. I bough it also in PC, Android and PS3 (did not like it in mobile, and PC is not handly in my job, VITA is perfect to play a couple of hours before sleep), I played with my brother, he plays it in the PS3. We want to play in versus mode, but when we kill each other we loss our items, i tought when playing with a GEM we would not loss items but i did not happend.

So that is the question, is there any way to play PVP without lossing the items in the console version (specifically VITA/PS3) ?
 
The only reason your losing items is because your character is hardcore or mediumcore. You'd have to make a softcore character to not lose your items
 
Ohhh you are right... I did not tough about it, I just have a mediumcore char... I fell stupid right now... I will create another one, thanks...
