I have never been able to get used to the changed UI in 1.3, and am wondering if there is a way to still play PS4 terraria without that update. On Gamestop, the disc version entry says that it includes 1.2 update. If I buy that and install, will Terraria just automatically update itself to 1.3? Curious if anyone has tried this.

I Think That It Says That Because The PS4 Version Released With 1.2 As Standard. If You Buy The Physical Version Of A Game, You Shouldn't Be Forced To Download Any Updates Unless You're Logged Into PSN, And Even Then, It Just Means That You Won't Be Able To Use Online Fetaures.
However, You'd Need To Delete Terraria Off Your PS4 First, And You'd Have To Start From Scratch, So Keep That In Mind.
