this is intentional, not all items can be uncrafted with Shimmer

I was able to uncraft my Shell Phone. I actually did it as soon as I realized it’s bugged on console.

probably was changed to be uncraftable via Shimmer in v1.4.4.1 (mobile hotfix only, console will still have this as an issue)
@Nox_porphyrogene are you trying this in a single player or multiplayer world? Try single player world.

i'm referring to this happening in single player. I wanted to uncraft it when I couldn't use it like i had used the cellphone and such, but it wouldn't uncraft

Update: So actually, after speaking with RL devs, this is working as intended. The Shellphone is not supposed to be able to be uncrafted. The reason that some console/mobile players were temporarily able to uncraft their Shellphone in 1.4.4 is because it was a bugged (neutral) Shellphone. The patch of 1.4.4.1 fixed all the bugged Shellphones, and so now it correctly does not uncraft.
It’s not a bug or an oversight, but intended, because of the unique way the recipe for the Shellphone works. It may be something that can have a special code written for it in the future to allow for its uncrafting, no guarantees, but for right now it’s intended to not uncraft.
Update #2: The Shellphone will become uncraftable by design in the 1.4.4.5 version.
