Game Mechanics Pumpkin Moon Weapons Use Normal Ammo types

I can't support this because it sounds like a lazy solution. I would much rather take this opportunity to give Candy Corns, Exploding Jack-o-Lanterns, and Stakes more uses. @Baconfry has a suggestion about making Candy Corn edible, Explosive Jack-o-Lanterns should be able to be fired out of Cannons (like Cannon balls and Explosive Bunnies) and there has to be another use for Stakes...

So that's that. No support in favor of better, more creative solutions.

Does this look like a good inventory to you? it dosnt to me because the right side is ESSENTIALS of an endgame ranger, AND this dosnt incluse stynger and bolts, candy corn launcher and candy corn, 2 other helmets, pulse bow, tsunami, elf launcher, gel, nimbus rod?, light item, snow man cannon, rockets, and tons of different types of ammo and arrows too...
the shurkens on the right side is representing the other stuff i mentioned, besides different arrows/ammo, thats more then half an inventory of ammo and weapons....

That is less of an issue with the unique ammo than it is that you are carrying too many Venom Arrows. You only need 4 slots, as long as you don´t constantly shoot.
 
Venom bullets, and even if i were carrying only 2 stacks of venom bullets the other stuff would still take up 24 slots...... the ammo slots are filled too...
besides, dont you know how fast the chain gun goes through ammo? jeeze.... it goes through 1 stack in like 2 fishrons

I know how much ammo a Chain Gun can use, and 4 slots is often enough for a whole FM. If you want to save ammo that much, you can also use better bullets (Crystal and Ichor are better because of their higher total damage, and Chlorophyte should prevent missing), along with adding a few more damage accessories (Althrough it is possible that you simply haven´t yet because of the RNG deciding to screw you over with the emblems). For example, you could replace the Obsidian Shield with a Ranger Emblem, and replace the Philosopher´s Stone with a Sniper Scope.
In fact, I personally only need 12 slots for the ammo for all of the PM ranged weapons because I also carry 4 full slots, and, even then, that is more related with the fact that I carry all of them, rather than the fact that they are the only weapons that use them, so, if anything, those unique ammo types should get more uses, both related to ammo variations and to non-ammo uses.

2 Weapons, shroomite digging claw, unless you want no pickax, and 1 melee weapon in case you run out of ammo, and summoning item is free damage, who :red: wouldn't use it?
RNG doesn't like me as much as it likes you apparently, because I don't have the drops yet.
Elf Melter - Event Clear
Snowman Cannon/Pumpkin Launcher - AoE damage
Chain Gun - Main Weapon
Nimbus - Throw it down, and forget about it, tons of damage
Tsunami - Other, main weapon (If you like bows better)
Pulse bow - Wave clear, but for bigger waves/Alternative to Tsunami

Also summoners don't carry around 2 sets of armor.... the best in the end is spooky, even if you do, you can just put the extra armor in vanity and thats free slots, endgame summoner items are Raven and Sharknados, plus Frost Hydra, and there are only 8 Accessories that affect minions, 6 if you remove sun/moon stone because they can be made into the celestial stone. http://terraria.wiki.gg/Minions Get your facts right

You could already cut the Elf Melter or the Pulse Bow, and the latter shares ammo with the Tsunami, which, if you are using as a main weapon, can substitute the Chain Gun. The melee weapn can be also cut because of the very low chance of running out of ammo, and the fact that, even then, you can just use the Piranha Gun.
 
How well do you think piranha gun works on fishron or events? And your still not including ammo types.... venom for normal use, explosive bullets for clearing waves, holy arrows for clearing waves with a bow, ichor bullets for boss fights, ect ect

You could use an inventory editor or a item map to use for the demonstration.
Summoners DO carry 2 sets of armor. You can get an extra minion that isn't that much weaker by switching to Tiki Armor. Summons don't currently update properly, so if you wear spooky summon 5 minions, put on a pygmy necklace summon 1, switch to tiki summon 1. You end up with the max minions and only the last 2 have slightly less damage. Not to mention Tiki actually has higher defense. You also carry around 2 sets of accessories for that very reason. After you summon your last minion you swap out your accessories for identicals that are warding instead of menacing.
I carry Raven, Sharknado, and the twins. As well as Frost Hydra AND Spider Queen (they stack.)
Accessories Destroyer Emblem (Menacing) Avenger Emblem (Menacing) Hercule Beetle (Menacing) Necromantic Scroll (Menacing) Papyrus Scroll (Menacing)
Pygmy Necklace (Menacing) Then you need Necromantic Scroll (Warding) Papyrus Scroll (Warding) Pygmy Neckalce (Warding) Then you get two accesories you can choose from, usually Wings (Warding) and I usually Ankh Shield or Frostspark Boots.
That's interesting that the gamepedia page doesn't list the Destroyer Emblem.

Edit: Sorry 6 minions, 1 more with the necklace, and the final one with tiki.

This is kind of a lame suggestion. One of the coolest things about these items is that they do a lot of damage, but have rare/expensive ammo. This just kind of seems like you just got those weapons and don't want to bother getting the ammo. No support.

WTF?!?!?!? After you get the weapon you can just buy the ammo..... I'd say arrows and bullets are more rare because you have to farm for materials and craft them youtself

As far as I know, nobody besides you carries around all this stuff, if your confident in your dodging, get more damage, if your not, get warding, and theres almost half your inventory cut, even if you have that many acc you don't even need to carry them around... just put them in the vanity slots....

Against Fishron, it basically allows you to concentrate on dodging.
As for the events, you usually only need Ichor or Crystal Bullets, which is easily done by making an arena and leaving the weaker mobs to the traps.

Who needs to dodge when you can just make a skybridge of asphalt? or who needs to aim with chlorophyte bullets anyway?
Not all worlds are crimson, and crystal bullets really dont do the job of wrecking the bosses... the explosive bullets do the damage 2 times if you get a direct hit, which isnt really too hard. But you should always carry crystal bullets around anyway c;

As for Ichor bullets, you can always make another world. There is nothing stopping you from picking up a bit of Crimstone from another world and making an artificial Underground Crimson biome.

And, even if only 2 shards hit (which nearly always happens), it deals more damage.
As for a "legit play", making new worlds isn´t bad. Otherwise, that wouldn´t have been added.

5 and 15 copper is not expensive, nor is the Arms Dealer a difficult NPC to acquire.
