Biomes & Nature Purpose of Ocean Tunnels (1.4)

I do enjoy the visuals, limited as they are. The wall you get deep down those tunnels is pretty, and it's eerie when you reach the bottom and there's thick seaweed everywhere, obscuring the view.
I wish I could use the Guide to Plant Fiber Cordage to collect the seaweed that grows there, for decorative use elsewhere.
Edit: That area at the bottom of the ocean tunnel is good for farming sea snails (which drop Purple Mucus for making Purple Dye).
Another edit: Coral torches can be placed underwater and actually stay lit up! Now I wish Torch God's Favor would place Coral torches when you are underwater in the Ocean biome.
