Switch Query: is the max item limit the same on switch as it is in other versions?

In case the title is confusing I’m talking about the amount of dropped items that can exist at once, I know it’s around 400 but in portable mode items seem to de spawn way faster than they should like during the moon events. Maybe it’s just my imagination and I haven’t really played in docked mode yet but any answers would be nice.
