Apart from the profile I'm quite new to the forum, therefore apologies if this is not the right place to ask.
I am quite confused by hoiks, but I'd like to know what is happening here and if it might be helpful.
This below is the starting configuration.
If I move to the left it pushes me down, except when the block below is a half, like in the image below. If the block completely occupies the upper half the player is stuck, whereas if the upper half is only partially occupied the Character oscillates.
The questions are the following:
-is this post appropriate for this section, if not where should it be?
-is this like a hoik? If not what is happening?
-could this be useful for something if modified enough?
