Console Questions About Terraria, Switch Edition

Hey everyone, just had a few questions regarding the future release of Terraria on the Nintendo Switch.

  • Is the release going to be physical, digital, or both?
  • Will online be supported?
  • If digital, what will the size be?
  • Can each joycon support a player?
  • Cost?
Thanks for listening to my questions. I understand some may not be answerable at this time, but if anyone learns anything about the Switch version please post it here. I have been waiting for this forever!

1-Yes, this game will have the option of both digital and physical copies.
2-As with all console versions, excluding 3DS, Terraria will most likely have multiplayer functions.
3-The digital size should be the standard size for other consoles, however, it may vary. (105MB for PS4 and 386MB for XBOX One)
4-From what we know, this currently hasn’t been confirmed. It would be great to have this feature but it is understandable why it wouldn’t because Terraria requires more buttons than a single joy-con.
5-Same thing for pricing, this hasn’t been confirmed as of yet. Consider the standard price for other consoles if you want a rough estimate. ($19.99 for PS4 and $19.99 for XBOX One - US pricing)

I mean I always saw console prices at a minimum of $15.00 for U.S. I’m guessing they raised it when 1.3 came out? Also, I'd very much like to know where you got this information (not that I don’t believe you) but I didn’t see any links to your sources. You also say “We” as if you are working on the game too, which you’re just an avergae TCF user :happy:. Please send links next time. It’ll make you look more professional and people will find it easier to find the same information for a secure way to get the truth.

Just helping out a fellow friend... I think you’ll find I was speaking in context of the fans when saying “we”. I am happy to get a response, however, I would prefer if it was in a less critical manner. If you want links, just ask for them. Nothing more, nothing less.;)
