Questions on the Forums

Being a pretty new member, I have a few questions about the forums specifically; not anything about the game itself. I'm mainly just curious about the platform on which this forum was built or if it was built from the ground-up. That's really all, but if anyone has any useful information about the forums it would be much appreciated!

The section I moved this Thread to is the section used when you have questions about the Forums themselves.

To answer your question, this Forum was built using the Xenforo software. I'm not sure of the specifics, but the Forums went through a Beta Testing period before being released in September 2014, and have been upgraded with several add ons since then. Some of the Admins like @Tunnel King @Loki and @Skiphs know a lot more about the Forum Software and how it was built.
