Rainbow slimes drop about fifty bricks apiece and are easily farmed at the edge of a hallowed biome/inside a hallowed snow biome. We already have martian and meteor furniture that rely on random events, and dynasty wood furniture (that can be obtained in bulk, but only when they randomly appear in a randomly spawning NPC's inventory.) We have flesh and living wood furniture, which use common materials but can only be crafted with a very rare drop and an item that's not guaranteed to spawn in every world respectively. What I'm saying is, I don't think this is really beyond the pale to obtain, as long as the recipes don't end up like crystal furniture with obscenely high material requirements per piece.
