"Well, Lorra's missing, Lukas and Niyr were just found almost dead, and then disappeared, and I've been hearing that there's some strange stuff going on with Madoc and Swaasnia. I mean, Madoc surrendered, and normally he'd die before doing that. And there was also everything that happened at that party Angel held. An entire mountain and the town on top of it were blown up, Jeff has gotten paranoid because Niyr said he'd go insane and try to force everyone to worship dragons, and just in general a lot of people I know seem to have gotten more hostile and depressed."
