Ahh, then they finally got that updated then. I will admit that for the last few months I'd not kept track of tML. For the longest time, it was missing the latest update and you had to downgrade your version of the game by downloading all the old assets to even use tML.
Yep, you're golden there now -- like I said in my last comment, the 64bit patch doesn't have any of those nagging problems it once had.

So for anyone who's into using a lot of mods, now is a great time to try it.

One thing about Journey's End, is that major sweeping changes to Terraria will come to a close and once tML is updated to support that, it will be forever supporting it. So that will be nice.

So thats it... This update is awesome but makes me sad to think of how old I'm getting, I used to play this every day with my friend on our iPod touch's until we got bad laptops and played the pc version for hours and hour, never really knowing what were doing in the game. And to think its coming to an end is a little sad, I hope this update sends the game off with the bang it deserves...

I was 32 when I started playing this game. I'm 40 now. No worries, you're quite a way from being old.

At long last, the end is finally here. 8 long years later, the game is a far cry from what it was when skeletron was the end-all! I'm so happy to see the game ending the way the developers want it to. Good games with honest developers are so few and far between nowadays, what with all the lootboxes, paid content, and other money grabs and gimmicks. Terraria has always been and will continue to be a much-needed breath of fresh air for me and probably any other old-school gamers out there who remember what it was like when you just bought the cartridge and that was it. I very much look forward to seeing what Red and gang come up with next!

I bought Terraria in June of 2011, back then I didn't think much of it and only played a few minutes of it.
Years later I heard of this exciting new update to a game, so I went to check it out in the store and found that I already owned it, so I installed it and became enthralled by it's existence ever since.
Looking forward to what Re-Logic brings us in terms of new games, whatever they may be I expect they'll be as fantastic and cared for as Terraria has been.

Terraria's journey may be over, but the adventure will never end.

I hope the golf ball is a projectile you can use to activate switches. We need even more complicated Rube Goldberg machines in this game, and I believe golf will be what gets us to that ideal tipping point.

There should be exact stuff like the drop chance of items once you kill enough of something, and your old kills in 1.3 should count toward those.

An advanced option menu should also be there, some options only to be unlocked after beating moonlord in any world (like how killing WoF gives a choice between crimson and corruption)

a Creative world and character option (It was going to be in 1.4 anyway, no point in leaving it out. should also require a creative character to play a creative world. same with the regular mode)

also things to control how many life crystals or able to delete/add more of certain biomes

Good day Terrarians!

As you hopefully noticed, we had some pretty big news to share at E3 today! During the PC Gaming Show, we revealed live to the world that the in-development 1.3.6 update is no more... the next update to Terraria will in fact be the fourth major update we have developed for the game, which we are calling Terraria: Journey's End!

For those that were unable to watch the reveal live, we have shared the teaser trailer below - along with some key details and a bit of what we expect will be your FAQ. As we always do, we have left out a ton of juicy details and other content and features that will be included with Terraria: Journey's End. Some of those have or might be spoiled between now and launch, but others will remain a secret until you have the update in your hands later this year. So, without further ado... we present to you Terraria: Journey's End!

TERRARIA: JOURNEY'S END FAQ
Q: So, is Journey's End the same as Terraria 1.4?
A: Yes! This is the fourth major update to the game, continuing in the tradition of 1.1-1.2-1.3

Q: Will Journey's End cost extra?
A: For owners of Terraria on PC (Steam/GOG/Etc), Journey's End will be a free update - this continues our long-standing tradition of providing substantial free content to our fans.

Q: Will Journey's End come to Consoles? Mobile? Switch?
A: Eventually, yes - but likely not at the exact same time.

Q: When will Journey's End release?
A: We expect to have this update out prior to the end of the year. However, as we always say... it will be ready when it is ready.

Q: What happened to 1.3.6?
A: As we got further and further into development, we started to realize that 1.3.6 was reaching a tipping point... one where if we decided to add in a handful of big ideas we have had for some time, it would really feel worthy of a 1.X tier update.

Q: Why call it Journey's End instead of 1.4?
A: Our current plan is for this to be the crowning update to Terraria. We do not currently have any plans to tackle additional updates, outside of fixes and maybe a few tidbits here and there to shore things up.

Q: So, what does that mean for Terraria? Re-Logic?
A: Terraria will remain the vibrant and amazing game that it always has been! There is plenty more coming down the road for Console/Switch/Mobile (including some things we have not revealed just yet), and with the available mods - plus any future mods - on top of what is a VERY robust core game, we are confident Terraria will be trucking along for many, many years to come. Of course, we will stay involved with all of you - you make this possible, and we always enjoy hanging out.

For Re-Logic, this means that we will finally be tackling our second title. We do not yet know what this will be - and it may not even be a Terraria title - so expect a time of silence from us on that front until we are ready to share more what we decide to pursue. :)

Q: You said the spoilers and trailer don't show everything in Journey's End. What else can we expect?
A: From additional content to some really cool features, we only wanted to share some selected things at this point (plus there is only so much we can pack into a 90 second video!). We have spoiled more in the previous months and will continue to do so as we head to launch. As always, we will leave some surprises in there for you to discover on your own!
Can you patch the 3ds version up? Also continue updates for fixes and stuff for all platforms?

Although it's sad to know that Terraria will essentially find it's End here in this update, I'm super glad to see that Re-Logic is still going strong. Y'all have engaged more with the community too, it seems, which is just fantastic. :) Wishin' the best for you!

The 3DS physically cannot handle any more updates, and all of the current gen platforms are going to be updated (meaning mobile, XB1, PS4, PC, and eventually Switch.)

The drop chances were already confirmed to happen, but I don't know if it tracks your 1.3 kills...

Considering Master Mode wasn't on the worldgen screen, I think you have to kill Expert Moonlord to unlock it...

They said you had to work for the creative mode and not just have it handed to you... maybe it's locked behind the same thing as Master Mode?

Sorry, I can't see them doing this, at least TerraCustom will probably update more quickly then TML...
