By default, your dropped items will go back into your armor, accessories, vanity slots, dyes, hotbar, ammo, pets, mounts, and grapple hook slots.
With a simple config, you can edit which slots items are allowed to go back into, including the above and the main inventory. (Custom Modded Slots currently unsupported)
Did you equip some temporary gear to get your items back from a dangerous location? Don't worry! Your pre-death items will swap your current gear out, placing them in a similar slot or the main inventory. (Configurable)
Is your main inventory full and you really want your old gear back as fast as possible? Your current gear will be safely dropped on the ground to make room for your old gear. (Also configurable.)
Also multiplayer compatible!
Watch it in action:
- If you die again before picking your items up, your old gear will still be remembered and restored properly
- Fixed a bug where if the same type of dye existed in both your main and miscellaneous slots, only the main slots would re-equipped, and the rest would go into your inventory
