Game Mechanics Reforge System Update

Hello there Terrarians, I ve stumbled into an interesting video and have been playing this game for a good while. I think more than ten year already.
I ve had ideas here and there and honestly the actual state of the game is amazing as it is.

So i was browsing into the internet today and found this interesting video that talks about the Reforging system our second most 'LOVED', NPC really likes to do his thing and scam us a ton of times which is kinda annoying but to be honest we re used to that already so we go farming for that money to get that 'modifier' we need so we can do progress in game. The Reforging System through out the game once you start to 'feel' you can build around that and the accesories you get and just play around your gamestyle, however i do feel like those modifiers could change so it rewards 'creativity' and they can be even more useful as they are, the 'bad' modifiers could use a change to reflect certain stats on the weapon or accesory that you may want, or the other modifiers could use changes so you dont go always for something like /Menacing/Warding/Violent/Lucky for accesories and for melee weapons like Legendary you will always want that because it's the best that there's to offer or Unreal for Guns/Bows, where you could just go for something like Frenzy exchanging damage for a nice 30/40% speed , or have the other modifiers trade stats but rewards you in the way you re trying to build, massive for example should get more stats so the weapon it's really massive paired with gloves and maybe trade some attack speed? or even add more modifiers if needed, The Reforge system has been not touch for several years and i think the game can further improve the experience towards that direction.

I think this is worth looking into, this would not need so much work and i think this could be great if done too.
 

The guy shown on video just made a thread showing off his proposal.
I kind of just wanted to drag attention to his video, consider this thread as abandoned.
 
Funny, I just made an account to post the video here as well.
I think that the content mentioned in the video would make reforges actually interesting, and the summoning buffs/reforges could implement affects for summons to have increased attack speed with less damage, or vice versa.
I think that making reforges genuinely stand out from each other would be fantastic (especially if it's released as some beta to test out before a full release).

Unfortunately, this might be best for a Terraria 2, but I can hope 😌
