Relatively new player looking to start over with a couple people on expert mode

I'm an old terraria player who played way back when Terraria first started but I don't know much about the game anymore. I've tried playing solo and pretty much ended up fighting the first 3 bosses but experienced nothing new about the game. (Eye of Cthulu, Eater of Worlds, King Slime). I would like to start over with just a few people on an Expert Mode world to try and get through the game to actually experience what this game has to offer.
