Why: Lategame ranged sets have -750 (Shroomite) and -1200 (Vortex) aggro, which (due to lack of target to pursue) makes enemies turn away from the ranger and despawn.
(Lategame DPS of ranged weapons is based on the intent that they are used from stealth, otherwise ranged weaponry are subpar to all other option.)
Solution: Accessory (possibly a combination of Flesh Knuckles and some other ranged accessory) that either sets aggro to default 0 value regardless of bonuses or grants an increase high enough to counter Vortex.
Flesh Knuckles and its variants add 400 aggro, the rangers require over 1000 to combat the detrimental effects of Vortex in single player.
Alternative solution could be a consumable or a background object that has a positive level aggro if thrown/placed. (Should not affect bosses!)
