So alot of pre-hardmode armours have had the same basic stats and sprites since they were introduced. So here's a reboot

Shadow Armor.png

Shadow Armor - The Corrupt Assassin

Defense: 19
Stats: +21% Melee speed
Set Bonus: +15% Movement Speed
Press DOWN to sneak for slower movement but +25% melee damage

Crimson Armor.png

Crimson Armor - The Bloody Samurai

Defense: 19
Stats: +6% Melee damage
Set Bonus: Greatly increased life regen
Revenge buff - Repeatedly hitting the same enemy gradually increases damage up to +5%

Jungle Armor.png

Jungle Armor - The Floral Magician

Defense: 17
Stats: +80 Mana
+12% Magic Crit Chance
Set Bonus: Reduces mana usage by 16%
Creates a weak leaf crystal that shoots 3 damage petals at a slow rate

Necro Armor.png

Necro Armor - The Undead Ranger

Defense: 16
Stats: +15% Ranged Damage
Set Bonus: 20% chance not to consume ammo
Allows bows and guns to be charged with right-click for 2 seconds to fire a triple damage projectile

Molten Armor.png

Molten Armor - The Flaming Barbarian

Defense: 25
Stats: N/A
Set bonus: +17% Melee damage
Melee attacks inflict On Fire!

Hmm... I like a lot of these! But here are a few criticisms-

- The Jungle Armor is a bit too pink it kinda ruins the plant-like effect.
- I think the Necro and Shadow Armor sprites are fine as is.
- The stealth thing is only for rangers and wouldn't make sense for the Shadow Armor.

But other than that, this is a pretty cool suggestion and I like these bonuses! (Maybe buff the Jungle Armor bonus to 6 damage or something)

-Yeah, I had some problems redesigning the jungle armor, originally I was going to have a venus flytrap going around the neck but it was pretty hard to sprite :p

Okay, about that Psyco Knife thing, that is just the gimmick of the weapon. I'm just saying that it shouldn't be a thing for armor. And also, in pre-hardmode, 5% damage means almost nothing. because of the low damage weapons.
 
Sprites are ok looking, but I don't think they really need revamped, new armors are always a plus though and always a great item for things that should be added to the game.
 
the original sprites definitely looked kind of bland and generic, and these new sprites look way better. though I have one criticism with the new shadow armor sprite. the helmet has a bit of an odd shape. it seems a bit to long. maybe bring it up a bit?

I'll try to, I resize my sprites to a larger size most of the time

The Shadow Armor is now fixed ;p

Maybe make these as Alternate versions and abilities for armor? Combine Ancient + Normal versions of the armor = these buffed up versions? Bee Armor should be a rare drop from bees.
