PC Save issues with many reasons

I have had no issues with my saves for around 440 hours of gameplay, until a few weeks ago where i had the "the cloud provider is not running" error. Now for some context, i have been using this laptop for like 2 years and i am not the first owner of it, my sister had ownership of it before me and she had her cloud/one drive linked up. Now i have no clue when her one drive decided to unlink but it did. So I then looked through the Forums and tried a few fixes, and after deleting all 440 hours of characters and worlds because no matter what i did apparently one drive would not let me back them up because they were meant to be on my sisters one drive but i suspect they were never uploaded. So then i had decided to link up my old one drive from 2021, but for some odd reason now my one drive is located in the files of her one drive, so terraria refuses to use mine, and so its using the documents folder of my sisters one drive which is no longer connected to the cloud. Terraria is running and did fine for about a week, until while i was afking in my grinder i errored due to my storage running out which corrupted my world. i then loaded my backup and it then kinda worked fine but this then caused steams cloud to apparently be 5 days behind in saves, and now my mini map is wiped and will never stop wiping/wont save. This is messed up in so many ways and i hate it may the gods come down and save me from this hell

Hey @callanUwU, I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with Terraria.

You should be able to fix your minimap constantly resetting by going to Documents/My Games/Terraria/Players/{Your Player Name} and deleting the minimap file corresponding to your world. If you only play on one world, there should one be one. If you play on more, it is most likely the most recently modified file (though make a back-up first in case it isn't).
