Playing in a vanilla world with a friend, and doing certain things like opening my inventory or going to some certain places like a cave causes my screen to flicker a ton. Here is a video of what I'm seeing (trigger warning, lots of flashing)
This happens regardless of if I'm streaming/recording or not.
I've played a lot of tModLoader and never encountered this issue there, so I'm surprised it's happening here.
I should also note that in Steam, under Properties –> Launch Options, I set the renderer to Vulkan with this "gldevice:Vulkan" (it helped with performance and reducing stuttering) so maybe that's part of the issue now, but I'm not sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'm trying to do weekly game nights with my friends but this flashing is really annoying and distracting.

Do you have any resource packs installed? You can check them through the Workshop option in the main menu.

I do have an Undertale music resource pack. It’s purely music though

Could you disable this music pack and see if you can replicate the issue? Just to be sure?

If that doesn't make a difference, could you try updating your graphics drivers?

So I disabled the music pack and updated to macOS 15.3.1, but the issue still occurs, even in single player. I even tried opening a world in tModLoader just to be sure after updating that, and it still doesn't happen there, only in vanilla.

Ok so I removed the "gldevice:Vulkan" under Properties -> Launch options, and that seems to have fixed it. It used to help with performance so I'm surprised that it was reducing my performance this time.
