Weapons & Equip Select certain items to be shared through loadouts

Ever since the loadouts were added into the game, they've only been useful for having a battle, building/mining, and fishing loadout. A little toggle on the equip slot, kinda like the "show accessory" toggle, and the ability to choose which loadouts to share it with would be a game changer for so many terrarians. Before, you couldnt really have three classed loudouts. Certain things like boots and wings would be wanted in all loadouts so this way you wouldnt need to use spare and old equipment in your other loadouts.

The biggest thing this would allow is switching between multiple classes in the click of a button. Unless you are playing in journey mode, you cant get three pairs of terraspark boots, wings, and other key accessories like the anhk shield.


This part may be a bit over board so I don't expect anything of it, but the same thing with the hotbar would be handy. Maybe just the first five slots even, that way you can have two or three classes' weopons without taking up half of your inventory.

I like it. I think this could be useful. It could also maybe lead to swapping pets, mounts, grappling hooks, and minecarts through loadouts too.
 
It's a good idea, but i suspect people aren't replying because it's been suggested before. I don't know if ReLogic plans to add someþing like ðis, but many people would support it if ðey did.

I would love if you could have pets, mounts and minecarts part of your loadouts. Great idea
 
This would be great. I'm currently struggling to get enough random items from the Angler to make another Fishing gear thingy, so my main loadout can have a cellphone, while the fishing loadout keeps fishing power and suchlike info. Same deal with metal detector for example. Those things are NOT easy to find!
 
A suggestion for global accessory slots to be a thing was made a while ago, I usually forget about loadouts even though their a nice feature because I don’t switch between different classes a lot.

Wait... you equip the cell phone?
You know it gives you all the info if it's just in your inventory, you don't need to equip it. This goes for all info accessories. (metal detector, cell phone, stopwatch, ect)

Actually don't think it is possible to equip a cellphone. But I was thinking about the next stage, the PDA. Anyway, after many more fishing quests, I finally got the correct item, and was able to make a PDA for my main loadout, while having fishing info on the fishing loadout. Yay :)

You craft the PDA into the cell phone, which also acts as a magic mirror (can then craft it into the shellphone, which also adds the conches). The cell phone cannot be equipped as an accessory. Additionally, all info accessories don't need to be equipped to function, and work while in the inventory (or void bag) as well. It's literally pointless to have duplicate information accessories.
 
Not at the stage I was at. Meant I could not have info on different loadouts without needing to stick stuff in inventory. I need all the inventory space I can get 😆
