Other Selenian Transformation

Ever since the new transformations snap shots were released, and after reading different suggestions about possible transformations I decided to come up with a transformation for the selenian. The main reasons why I think this transformation would be neat is because I like beyblades, selenians are cool, and having a spinning attack would be cool.

Above is an animation of what the player could look like as a selenian and doing stuff like jumping, spinning, and using their weapon.

The item that lets you transform into a selenian is called the "Blazing Selene" (you can come up with an other name for it if you want), the name is a reference to a powerful bey called the sol blaze which is also known as the scorching hot invader or the sun god and I think it fits the solar pillar's theme. I presume the way you can transform is by putting the transformation item in you mount slot similar to lilith's necklace and how you transform in thorium so I will be going by that logic. The blazing selene is a beyblade that resembles a selenian doing its spinning attack. Down below is an image of what it looks like and a pixelated version to show what it could look like as an item.

I was thinking maybe an item like this could be bought from the zoologist or some other NPC during the pillar invasion event.

I feel like this would be better as a weapon than as a transformative mount. By the point in the game you'd get this, you'd be giving up infinite flight for a spin attack, and that's simply not worth it unless the mount also does something else impressive.

I'm not fully sure on the stats and stuff like how much damage the spin attack does and (whether or not you could use wings as a transform). Maybe it could scale based on your weapons dmg sort of but also have a base amount of dmg it does.

Also I might have a little question thing on whether the item should be obtained as a rare drop from selenians at night time or be craftable at an ancient manipulator because I'm a bit indecisive. ( or if there could be a complete different way to obtain this item)

Thanks for the feedback, I might draw a selenian with wings but a flying selenian could be a bit OP.
 
I just edited the method of obtaining the thing as I think if a sort of "gimmicky" item like this was ever implemented into terraria, I think it would kinda make sense if it was sold from an NPC instead of being some rare drop from the solar pillar monsters (as the pillar monsters don't really drop anything besides banners) or being added to the loot pool of items that can be crafted with the solar fragments. I still think dashing and jumping around like a selenian would be cool.
 
for controls how about double tap in direction you want to go like shield of cathulu but in any direction including diagonal and what if as a reference to sonic when on the ground press down + jump to roll jump more to charge and release down to go it spins until you run out of momentum
 
alright fair i was thinking mobile but to make it easier on computer maybe it is less of a dash and more of a turning into a ball and going in the direction you pressed so if you double clicked w but was holding a or pressed it afterwords then it would move diagonal
