Selling money?

Apparently you can sell money on mobile and you don't get anything back... I accidently sold 45 gold and now I'm short money for my coin gun green solution etc. Is this a bug?

yes this is a bug ive done it before just to see what would happen and i lost 15 gold and i think if you sell something to the same npc you get your money back and ive been trying to get the coin gun for about 8 weeks and no luck do you have any tips and how long did it take you to get the coin gun?
