- PLAYER's DIARY -

Some kind of book where we can write text.
So we can take notes, write stories or anything like that.
-
Seriously, why don't we have this yet?
__________

[ 2 ]
- AUTO-RESEARCH -

Quick way to research all craftable items in Journey Mode.
If I have infinite wood, don't make me have to craft and research all the craftables one by one.
-
Make them research themselves automatically!
__________

[ 3 ]
- SKATEBOARD -

Skateboards are much cooler than roller skates
Imagine if we could do tricks with it!
-
Okay, I admit, this is more of a personal preference.

Yea these should exist

i like the diary idea
i am always forgetting what i need to do and i can't write it down
also is the diary unique per character(like piggy bank ect.)
if not then i could write down my play throughs day by day and create a story

Actually, you can already do this! It's a pretty well hidden feature, it seems, since most people I've spoken to on the Terraria forums haven't done it. But it's really simple and can be done by all players on all platforms. All you have to do is walk over to the drawer or shelf where you keep your writing/art supplies, grab a piece of paper and a pen, and you can write down everything you want to write down! Plans, to-do lists, stories, etc. It's very useful.

well it's not in game so it's not the same

I'm not saying these are bad ideas but this is one of the worse titles I've seen, it is far too clickbait-y.

Really? Sorry about that.
In my head this stuff have no reason to not be in the game.

Adventure maps need ways to write down optional lore and rules without the constraints, text limits, and tile coverage of signs. I see no reason to be sarcastic like this when the suggestion has more potential and use cases beyond its original intent.

You may be right, but I've seen several suggestions that ask for this, and none of them mention adventure maps. I'm also yet to see someone who makes adventure maps speak up on this issue, so I don't know how that portion of the player base feels about it; it's possible they all desperately want an item that stores text, and it's possible that none of them want it. All of this is to say that, in my experience, adventure maps are not something that people think about when they ask for an item that can store text, and all of the other reasons are already covered by signs and writing things down in real life. This specific subject is one that I'm rather jaded about within the Terraria community. I apologize for being rude, but I do stand by my point.

Does it really matter that they don’t have adventure maps in mind? Why act jaded about it if it would have a bunch of unintentional positives? And even without those contexts, why disregard people’s want for immersive notes? What would it detract from the game?
