Blocks & Decoration Shimmer Dropper and Shimmerfall Blocks

I wish I could craft shimmer droppers and shimmerfall blocks.

I have a lab for liquids and was wondering what blocks I should use to decorate it, and the water/lava/honeyfall blocks seem like the best idea for that. When I learned that the shimmerfall block doesn't exist I was a little disappointed.

In fact, this seems like an oversight when adding new liquid.
The question remains, should we craft them with the Crystal Ball next to the Shimmer or by throwing Glass Blocks and Empty Droppers into the Shimmer?
