Signatures are limited?

Hey, I was trying to add a link to my spoiler button in my signature but I couldn't fit the link but got "post is longer then limits" error. :x
Can someone explain why it's been downsized? I'd like to show who's posts I support. D:

I assume its to help with page loading. People who have immensely large signatures tend to cause issues for people with slower internet. I'm not too sure how the limits work here, I haven't tested it out myself.

I do think its a good thing though, there really isn't a need to have a whole gallery of images in ones signature. I'm not saying that was your intent, as you stated it was to show your support towards people, but in general that was an issue.

Yeah i think it's limited, i had to resize my image to be able to see it properly.

Images and text are cut off at 150 pixels and you're only allowed ten images.
