my ideas may come at the speed of sound..but I don't really want to make a mod..im fine just giving all these awesome people my ideas :passionate:besides I don't think theres a high demand for my long term goal of a 300 item mod that only adds summoner equipment :naughty:



and some ranger equipment too but lets keep that a secret

It doesn't matter if it's not in demand, we code because it's fun! Well, that's why I do this anyways...

- Now Doesn't Reference Basemod
- Flame Pillar Projectile Will Damage You Too (until I find a way to fix this)
- All mod projectiles will be unaffected by on hit projectile spawn buffs (It sorta would be... lag fiesta.)

Star Launcher - A Multi-ammo type weapon
- Iron Star - Basic Star, introduction to "Impalement" effect
- Burning Star - Impales onto enemies and then explodes at a certain time
- Hallowed Star - Lasts for a while and causes debuffs on enemies.
- Spectral Star - Lasts for a while and gives life to player
Carrier Bow - A multi-ammo summoner weapon (totally didn't steal the idea from Kantai Collection)
- Paper Airplane Arrow - Basic Arrow Plane, works like Bees
- Fighter Plane Arrow - Fires planes that shoot when it sees an enemy; limited time
- Bomber Plane Arrow - Fires planes that does a bombing run; limited time

Expect to see better sprites, better thrown weapon stats, and NPCs using these projectiles on YOU... later on, like much later on. Also some new items. Projectile buffs will not work with custom projectiles!. There will also be nerfs in place for some weapons. It will also be officially moved to the Released section of the forum.

How about a floor-razing projectile, like the dungeon's Blazing Wheel but player owned? There could be an easymode non-piercing variant and a hardmode multi-hit variant, maybe one that spits fireballs as it goes too.

Sorry, I have been working on so many things recently for the next update (which hopefully sometime soon I will make a video demonstrating all the new stuff)... I have, however, tried to do what you have suggested, but porting an NPC into Projectile is actually quite difficult, so it will take a long time.
 
I guess nobody ever checks the "Spoiler on What's Coming up Next" spoiler, so I'll just C&P it here...

- Hallowed Star - Lasts for a while and causes debuffs on enemies.

That's some cool stuff. Also, what monsters do you plan to add into the invasion you are making ?

So far, me and my spriter has decided on a Frog themed invasion for some strange reason... So far, the invasion sort of works because I have been adapting Grox's zombie invasion code, it spawns mobs (that one mob lol), changes music, stuff like that. Also, the invasion can only be started when it is raining, thus the reason for the event items like the Rain Staff and the Eclipse Charm, so it is easier to do them. Some of the future mobs include enemies that uses projectiles like the Ancient Spear, Ancient Bow, Air Burst Rocket Launcher, and other fun projectiles I made inside this mod.
 
These are incredible. Love how you've also included gifs of their effects, though I have to say that fire is a rather recurrent theme. Perhaps more weapons pertaining to the other elements could be developed?

Yeah, I know that fire is a concurrent theme within this mod, but that was mostly because it was pretty easy doing the fire effects. But I've gotten better now and I'm hoping to do more than just Fire as an element. If I have the time, I might actually start making projectiles pertaining to water/wind. Earth is not going to be so much fun I think...

Also, it seems I forgot to add to the list of upcoming things, the Bottled Fairy, which is an upgraded version of the Pull Gun.
