This bug has been in the game forever, like every single version and still in 1.4.1.1 . If you repeatedly talk to the Skeleton merchant his torch trade can change between regular torches and bone torches, and his glow stick trade can go into the splunker variant. I know it still works because I tried it and it still works. This isn’t very important but it’s still a little weird.

This is actually intended. The Skeleton Merchant swaps torches every second. As for the glowsticks, the regular variant is sold during daytime when it's not a full moon, otherwise the Spelunker variant is sold.
