Biomes & Nature Sky Temple/Heaven Biome

Similar to Baconfry's idea ( http://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/regenerating-orbs-and-hearts.665/ ), this could spawn on a random floating island. Rather than having it be corruption/crimson, it could be a whole new biome. New enemies (Griffons, Angels, etc), a new ore that makes really unique items, yet not too overpowered ( Could make the Starfury craftable, armor that has a featherfall effect, etc. ). Holy water or Life Potion could exist somewhere in pools or fountain, can be crafted into Holy Water or Life Potion by standing near it with a bottle. The boss could be a Djinn (Djinn, Angels, and Humans are the three sapiens of God in Islamic beliefs). Could use a lot of work, but even if I were to complete this idea fully and the devs liked it, I'm sure they'd tweak it a bit, so I don't see the point in working too hard on it rather than just brainstorming.

It is a neat concept but the development of ideas is lacking, a lot.

Oh, wow , yeah it is a lot alike. I originally got the idea from that post by Baconfry, but yeah that post is pretty much just a more polished version of this.
