Should the Hook Reset Flight Time?

  • Yes you can get the ice rod to do that anyway.

That Blessed Wing accessory is REALLY neat.
And so's everything else, too.

Full support.

Sorry for white bg and chest. I put it there so that you see the skyware-theme.

Looks nice. But a thing. Never save as a .jpg. Ever. I tried remaking it into a .png, and also removed the background.

Perfect suggestion

I like this suggestion but I only semi Support it. If it were to be implimented, I think it should be part of a larger expansion of the sky biome in general. As it stands there's not much to the sky islands and if this were implimented they way it is, I suspect it would be available as soon as hardmode starts and that blessed wing is far to powerful for early hardmode. (don't get me wrong, I like the idea and the balance is good but more for mid to late hardmode shortly before you can get the fishron mount and ufo. (so plantera or golem) I would love a full expansion of the sky biome with this added. Not to sure on just this being implimented alone.

Why is this not a thing.

*My jaw drops through my house to the core of the earth, destroying it and the earth with it*

Seriously though, this is wow.

I remember when I made something like this. Ah good times.

Anyways, I'll support this only because I love Skyware, Sunplate, and Sky Islands.

I'm here at 2 in the morning to defend my suggestion.

For the request that there be an expansion I want one as well. I have a disorganized suggestion for it.

I don't think that providing infinite flight at early hardmode is too powerful. Especially since it takes up two accessory slots. With the fishron mount and the UFO those require 0.

I actually really, really like these item ideas here. I especially love the Blessed Wing's ability to work on Balloon accessories. I always did think Balloons were more fun than wings, and I always wished there were better versions for Hardmode, but this works just as well!

These guys would be super rare if added into the game. On a side note, I think the Heavenly Wing is pretty balanced.

Sounds like a good idea, I need to burn some souls of flight.

The main argument I would have against this being available in early hardmode is that it turns the destroyer into a complete joke. I mean, yea you can already do that by simply going 50 blocks up and shooting down but the blessed wings take even that away. This also applies to duke fishron to a lesser extent. the sharknado attack he uses is rooted firmly to the ground and easy to dodge by simply flying upwards. the blessed wings turn that attack into a complete joke. It's to a lesser extent though because using up 2 accessory slots on that boss fight can lead to a rather painful death. My point is though is that alot of bosses simply don't take infinite flight into account. Once you get the UFO/Fishron mount, those bosses are all already complete jokes but the blessed wings, if available during early hardmode would basically be a nerfed flying mount. I think the balance is fine but not for early hardmode. I think after the mech bosses is a good point to be able to get this. It doesn't make anything you haven't already dealt with, stupidly easy and it's before you can actually get the ufo/attempt to get the fishron mount and not fail horribly unless your Yrimir.

So it would eliminate there only being one way to cheese that boss. The method of putting a platform up there still stands so I don't see this as much of an issue.

And the Plantera spiky ball things may be avoided by using a gravitation potion and staying on the ceiling.

That might be true but I don't see how it is such a big issue.

I'm not convinced so I'm keeping it as is. It is modeled after the other key mimics after all.
