Mobile Slime invincibility issue?

Ive been setting up a afk farm and my slime box isnt working. Every few bounces the slime will start taking damage 1hp a hit for 4 or so hits then its fine for a few bounces and starts getting hit again. Is this a mobile issue a patch or am i doing something completely wrong? I posted a video on YouTube not sure if i can link it though ill try
 
I just realized it was the dryad sho i moved her out but the slime is still getting me killed somehow I'll record a vid again this time might be the because i used the cross necklace?
