Game Mechanics slime statues spawning any type of slime

so in terraria we always slimes. some of them are rare to encounter and some are not. well i am here for a new mechanic with the slime statues and they all drop there money they usually drop.
Pre-Hardmode

Green Slime if statue is placed anywhere in the world other than the underworld. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Blue Slime if statue is placed anywhere in the world other than the underworld. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Red Slime if statue is placed in the underground layer. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Purple Slime if statue is placed anywhere in the world other than the underworld. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Yellow Slime if statue is placed in the underground layer. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Black Slime if statue is placed in the cavern layer. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Ice Slime if statue is placed in any snow biome. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Sand Slime  if statue is placed in any desert biome. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Jungle Slime if statue is place in any jungle biome. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Spiked Ice Slime if statue is placed in any underground snow. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Spiked Jungle Slime if statue is placed in any underground jungle. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff, stinger and/or banner.

Mother Slime if statue is placed in the cavern layer. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Baby Slime if statue is placed in a cavern layer but only when a Mother Slime is present. Drops: gel and/or rarely slime staff.

Lava Slime if statue is placed in the underworld. Drops: rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Dungeon Slime if statue is placed in the dungeon. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff, sometimes a golden key and/or banner.

Pinky rarely spawned if statue is placed anywhere in the world other than the underworld. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Spiked Slime  if statue is placed in the outer thirds of the world and when King Slime is present. Drops: gel and rarely slime staff.

Umbrella Slime if statue is placed anywhere in the surface in the rain. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff, rarely umbrella hat and/or banner.

Hardmode

Toxic Sludge if statue is placed in the underground and/or cavern layer. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff, rarely bezoar and/or banner.


Corrupt Slime if statue is placed in the corruption. still works if you have a crimson world and you have an artificial corruption biome. (you made the biome by going into a corrupted world and getting the corrupt seeds then place the seeds in a crimson world.) Drops: gel, slime staff and/or banner.
Slimeling if statue is placed in the corruption and a Corrupt Slime is present. Drops: gel and rarely slime staff.

Slimer if statue is placed in the corruption. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Crimslime if statue is placed in the crimson. still works if you have a corrupted world and you have an artificial crimson biome. (you made the biome by going into a crimson world and getting the crimson seeds then place the seeds in a crimson world.) Drops: gel, rarely slime staff, rarely meat grinder and/or banner.
Gastropod if statue is placed in the hollow at night. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff, rarely blessed apple and/or banner.

Illuminant Slime if statue is placed in the underground hollow. Drops: gel, rarely slime staff, rarely blessed apple and/or banner.

Rainbow Slime if statue is placed on non-hollowed blocks while the player is in the hollow in the rain. Drops: gel, rainbow bricks, rarely slime staff and/or banner.

Exclusive Variants

Shadow Slime if statue is placed in the corruption. still works if you have a crimson world and you have an artificial corruption biome. (you made the biome by going into a corrupted world and getting the corrupt seeds then place the seeds in a crimson world.) Drops: gel, rarely slime staff, rarely petri dish and/or banner.
Spectral Gastropod   if statue is placed in the hollow at night. Drops: gel and/or banner.

King Slime if statue is placed in the outer thirds of the world and you have defeated 150 slimes from the statue. Drops: gel, slime staff and/or trophy.

Absolutely not. He is a boss, and it will make him far too easy to farm and grind because you can just repeatedly fight him. (It would make the Trophy and Mask worthless, and he could be easily farmed for money.) Defeating 150 slimes wouldn't be hard, considering it's a statue. That's like saying the Skeleton statue will spawn Skeletron. Maybe if it didn't drop his loot, but what would be the purpose?

For the rest, I don't see why not. Though it would make farming their banners far too easy, it wouldn't hurt the game in many other ways.

Defeating 150 slimes wouldn't be hard

yeah but 1 second timers still wouldn't make them spawn every 1 second. but otherwise, do you want me to remove king slime?

Probably for the better, it would be pointless and break the purpose of him being a boss.

So to simplify the thread: Slime Statues should spawn whatever Slimes would normally spawn in that biome. Fair enough. I can support that. No need for 21 poll options.
I don't think Pinky shouldn't spawn from statues. Pinky is a bit of a special slime. Also iffy about it spawning Gastropod (doesn't really fit) or Rainbow Slime (too specific, though an easier way to get Rainbow Bricks is nice).

Also note that banners go directly into the player's inventory. They are not dropped by enemies anymore.

well the pinky would be rare, the gastropods are a type of slime and are like the slime of the hollow biome and i made them not drop the dust they usually do and i chose rainbow slime because they are a little rare to get and it would be useful to get rainbow bricks for parties and such. do i have to take out ALL 3 of these? only 2 or just 1?

I like the ideas, but all drops other than gel, banners, and slime staffs should probably be removed for the sake of balance (and staying clutter free)

It's your suggestion, so it's up to you what changes (if any) you make.
I'm just providing my thoughts. I'd still support it with or without any changes.

well the current slime statues DO only drop gel or rarely slime staffs but not banners.
