I honestly can't stand how all the boss warning messages are green but the invasion warnings are all purple, it makes me so upset!
The messages when the invasions arrive are fine, but the "A Goblin Army is approaching from the west" message is purple and it's very triggering.
Consistency guys! Consistency!

Npcs dying and arriving have different colors as well. I'm not sure that's an issue.

Er... I find this to be a helpful feature, so I can know if I have to prepare for something just by glancing at the lower screen. Sorry, but I can't support this...

It's quite good to know, because Green flashes at you LETTING 'YA KNOW, HEY THERES PEOPLE COMING. And it keeps you looking at chat, for the purple!

It seems consistent to me. Green text is always used to foreshadow that an event is about to happen (such as an impending boss or invasion) and purple text lets you know that something has happened (such as an invasion arriving, a boss awakening or a meteorite landing)
