  • The Sky and Space Update
THIS UPDATE IS MAJOR. from depth 525 up to 695 there are clouds that appear depending on the weather, if it's a storm the clouds will appear and there will be flashes within the clouds and lightning bolts that will appear under the clouds a rain drops (rain won't drop in deserts) and when you fly above the clouds there won't be rain of lighting and the background land will disappear past the depth 695. When you go into the clouds you see yourself barely depending on the thickness of the clouds like you're behind the clouds and it's misty over your character if it's an Overcast/Heavy Rain/Storm . it follows what the background clouds do on the weather. sky islands and sky water puddles can generate and Martian Probs, Harpys and Wyverns will spawn within the depths (525 - 695). The sky should have an expansion too. also when you or other NPC's are in space, you can die from suffocation in space similar to drowning in water without air unless your in a room full of oxygen, flying in the UFO mount or have the gear for space.​
  • The Martian Bonus Update
The players inventory has a section part for oxygen gear which goes over your armor and there's a setting if you want to have the O2 gear visible or not and the tanks don't run out of air granting players the immunity to suffocating of space After the Player triumphs over a Martian Madness event there will three new NPC's known as the alien (looks like a grey grunt), an alien pet (behavior is similar to the town animals), the Droid which move into a house and get their own space pylon that connects the pylon network and that is brought from the Alien. The Droid is built from debris dropped by martin walkers, tesla turrets and martian drones and iron/lead bars.​
  • Environment and happiness
All of their environment preferences are in the space layer with an unoccupied house that meet their requirements (a table and chair, a light source, walls, a door/platforms) but their happiness is only biome's not on other NPC's and they don't want live near any evil biomes (which can spawn on sky islands after the wall of flesh's defeat) or the dungeon. build there house needs to air sealed for players to go there which plants need to be in the ship for oxygen​
  • Defending Themselves
The Alien is armed with a Martian shock sword to defend himself and the Droid has a laser gun and shock grenades to defend himself​
  • sells
the Alien
Sells martian conduit plating and different types of armaments to put on the space ship it lives in. The different armaments it sells are auto red laser cannons (with colour choices) which shoot laser at anything expect players, NPC's and martian probs and auto missile launchers which do the same as lasers but chase after enemies. A chart course cock pit panel which come along with a tracking link so you can get the ship to rendezvous above you for an ariel bombardment and the player can command it from the ground so the whole ship can travel at light speed along with the NPC's and the player(if the player is on board the ship) at the co-ordinates marked for its destination but it still has to stay in the space layer. Orbital cannons for orbital strikes which come along with targeting binoculars so player can command the ship where to rain multiple red laser fire from the sky at anytime except underground, dealing a serious amount of damage to enemies, similar to STAR WARS Battlefront II. Hanger hooks for outside the ship can deploy star fighters to fight for you but they won't attack Martian Probs and they stay close to the big ship and can dock back into the hooks if there aren't any enemies near by. All of the fighters and cannons fire power won't destroy tiles. The alien also sells a cloaking devices triggered on and off by the player which prevents probs from detecting players that are with range of the radius of cloaking device. The alien sells all the space gear such as O2 tanks and everything that a player needs to survive in space. The alien sells the license of an alien pet that is similar to the town pet license.​
the Droid
sells different laser guns such rapid laser guns, hand laser guns, laser guns with explosions on impact like rocket launchers, martian laser rifles (not be confused with laser rifles from the W.O.F), laser shotguns and lingering shock grenades which shocks your foes around you.​
  • Respawning:
The Alien and the space pet will respawn if killed though they don't drop anything but the droid has to be rebuilt and when it's destroyed and it drops around half the lead/iron and debris it was created from.​

I combined your two threads into one to keep things organized and since we don’t allow duplicate threads.
 
  1. Clouds Update (I would recommend an expansion on the depths)
    • The clouds can appear depending on the weather such as an overcast, storm or it's raining regardless if it's light or heavy it cover the whole layer and lighting bolts can be seen when there's a flash but do no damage to the player or NPC's if it's a clear sky there some clouds but barely.
    • Players can barely be seen behind the clouds.
    • Sky islands and cloud ponds can generate in the cloud layer but never in the space layer.
    • Harpy's and Wyvern's spawn in the cloud layer but not in the space layer.
    • Corrupted/crimson sky islands count as evil biomes for an NPC.
    • Player can now suffocate from depleted oxygen in the space layer similar to drowning but it shows an oxygen icon above the player.
    • The new enemies that spawn in the space layer are space worms (similar behavior to a blood eel. hardmode exclusive), space squids (they a like sorcerers but can't teleport and they shoot galactic ink at the player but players to stop reflect it) and undead astronauts (who fly using jet packs and chase the player). these creatures will stay in the space layer and won't follow the player to surface layer
  2. Space NPC's
    The NPC's are The Alien, The Droid and a pet known as the martian dog which is a town pet (with an alien like appearance and requires a license like all the other town pets which is sold by the Alien and is sent to Mars when consumed) and they spawn after the player triumphs over a Martian Madness event (UFO fighters should be added to the event with similar behavior to the elf copters from the frost moon event but they shoot lasers and with the same appearance as the UFO mount, showing the alien pilot in the cock pit and they'll now drop the cosmic car key) and they are happy enough either the alien or the droid will sell a space pylon which connects to the pylon network.
    • Their house requirements is that their must be a vacant house in within the space layer.
    • Their living preferences is like the princess's living preference just only away from evil biomes (corruption/crimson sky islands) and the dungeon).
    • None of the space NPC's will die from oxygen suffocation.
    • The Droid has to built by the player to spawn requiring iron/lead bars, laser energy and debris to construct it (laser energy and debris are dropped from Tesla Turrets, Martian Walkers and Martian Drones).
Sold items
The Alien sells ship armament and other ship systems to place the player and weapons are single/duel laser cannons which shoot lasers at your foes, missile cannons which chase after your enemies, orbital laser cannons and binoculars to target a bombardment from the ground or in space with lasers exploding on impact with the ground, and fighter deploy hooks which pursue your foes and shoot them and return to the hooks if there are not any enemies nearby. All the weapons won't destroy tiles and you can upgrade the cannons to do more damage to your foes. The other systems the alien sells is a chart course cock pit and tracker so the ship follows the player by traveling at hyperspace when you give the order from the ground or in space in the cock pit while the ship remains in the same depth it was in before, Next is the cloaking device which blocks a martian prob from detecting a player by surrounding the ship with shields to jam it's scans and a martian prob is invulnerable to the cannons and cannons won't shoot it, lastly is an oxygen supplier which containing plant to produce oxygen within the ship for the player to survive without space gear.
The droid sells different types laser guns such as advanced laser rifles, single/duel hand laser guns, laser sniper rifle, martian rocket launcher and oxygen gear in order to survive in space granting immunity to suffocation and a button next to the equipment a button for astronaut gear is added with the option to make the gear visible or not and it can be dyed as well.
Defending and if killed
Both the Alien and the Droid are affect by the advanced combat techniques.
  • The Alien will have a zapper, a melee weapon that does do knock back and inflicts the electrified effect to nearby enemies like a Martian Gigazapper to defend himself.
  • The Droid will have a single hand laser gun and shoots at nearby foes to defend himself.
  • when killed, the Alien drops it's zapper with 70% chance and respawns with the Martian Dog respawn but The Droid drops around half of the materials used to craft it won't respawn on it's own, instead the droid has to be rebuilt by the player which requires iron/lead bars, laser energy and debris which are dropped from the Martian Walkers, Martian Drones and Tesla Turrets from the Martian Madness event.
