That is too big. I suggest making weapons in 32x32 and then scaling it up to 64x64

I would recommend going to the wiki and just studying how every single type of weapon looks. Tomes, yoyos, whips, swords, spears.. all that sort of stuff.

Here is my new resprite. It looks a little better but it looks a little corrupt themed..

Terraria sprites don't have light borders like that. They have dark borders.

Okay yeah I am not the best at this. I will take all the advice I can get to try and make my sprites better and better.




I am just glad it is nothing like the original. It is just a stick with blue coming off it lmfo.

My new sprite!
It is an upgrade to the vortex beater.
It's name is something along the lines of "Cosmetic Wretcher"

I had to use the light backround for the outline to show.

It's a little straining that the images are so big though. Don't put a background in your weapons.

Sorry if I sound harsh, but it will look a lot better if it is smaller and doesn't have a background.
