Items Staff of the Hydra buff

Hi, as from 1.3.4 there are new Sentries and I feel like Staff of the Hydra is a bit weak now. I suggest to buff it a bit, probably its damage which is 100 by now. Or maybe add very small explosion on impact. Compared to Ballista Staff, it seems weak.

Ballista Staff - 140 damage, pierces enemies and can be obtained almost always since everything you have to do is to kill the Golem and buy it from Tavernkeep for 100 Defender Medals.

Staff of the Frost Hydra - 100 damage, no pierce, and honestly it's hard to obtain since you have to farm a Frozen Key that has 1/2500 chance to drop.
In my opinion Biome Chest weapons should act like special, legendary weapons, but now Frost Hydra seems a bit weak for me.

Let me know what do you think about it.
 
Agreed, the biome weapons where at one point the end all weapons. Crazy hard to get, but very powerful and unique, surely worth the grind. They drifted off with the 1.3 update, and the 1.3.4 update killed off the Staff of Frost Hydra. But this is what happens with every update that extends the end of the game, and I think it's good for the game. It makes every, or nearly every, item unique, helpful and powerful for the stage at which you get them in the game.

In my opinion, the solution to your problem is not to buff the biome chest weapons, the Frost Hydra in this case, but to have them upgraded with the pillar fragments that match the weapon's type. For this it would be Stardust fragments because Stardust is the summoner pillar.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. You get the 1/2500 drop rate keys only to obtain a weapon that will be obsolete within two bosses. Well, at least the Vampire Knives are still good...

I'm not so sure that simply upgrading them is a good idea both of the listed weapons are at the same tier of progression doing this wouldn't make the staff of the frost Hydra get used but simply have it serve as a material.
That said the Summoner class is currently a mess due to how restricted sentry content is to one event and the low synergy with existing summoner gear...
