Well, it’s a well.

The Stone Well is literally just an old medieval styled well that buckets can be filled out of. To make it you need 50 Stone, 20 wood, 25 stone bricks and 5 rope. Mostly a cosmetic thing that goes WELL in a garden and if you have vine rope you can get your well and 25 vine ropes to make a mossy well. During a raining event, goldfish will spawn from the well and on a slime rain event it will be a new enemy called Gummy fish which give gel and is practically a slime just shaped like a goldfish. This would be a neat decoration since Terraria doesn’t have a lot of different decorations.

Absolutely. I've actually wanted a well for a little while now.
Not sure about the gummy fish, but I could see that maybe being a fun addition as well.

Not sure about a well, but it'd be awesome if you could find naturally occurring aquifer stone blocks that you could dig up and move to where you wanted. Just like corruption/crimson/hallow blocks, every few cycles each aquifer block with an adjacent empty space has a chance of producing one unit of water in that space.
That way it makes the world more immersive and allows you to build your own wells and tonnes of other ideas.
