Welcome to the thread for Striderr's Recipe Mod.

Striderr's Recipe Mod (SRM) is a mod that (you guessed it) adds
new recipes to the game. The first thought that someone may have when
seeing this mod for the first time is, "This mod REALLY looks like a copy of
IMKSushi's mod", while this is technically the case, this mod is taking a different
route than IMK's mod. Unlike his mod, I'm aiming to give every collectible and piece
of gear that isn't already craftable a recipe that fits in as well as possible
with the base game. (IMK's mod has a more "grindy" method to obtaining
previously uncraftable items which, in my opinion, doesn't
blend in with vanilla terraria too well.)

Spoiler: Current Content

Most weapons and accessories from pre-hardmode that aren't
already craftable or buyable are now craftable

If I add this mod, IMKSushi's mod is 'useless' ?

Not necessarily. I started developing this mod as an alternative to IMKSushi's mod because I think IMKSushi's mod is lacking in some areas pertaining to balance.

IMKSushi's mod isn't rendered useless by this mod because this mod isn't complete, whereas IMKSushi's mod is. In fact, this mod's development is on pause right now until I finish my current mod that has yet to be announced since I had a modding burnout a while ago.

That being said, the choice between whether or not you use IMKSushi's mod or this mod is ultimately up to you.
